... is a veterinarian and practised vet-medicine of companion animals for 30 years.
He started as General Practitioner and quickly specialized in ophthalmology for small animals (dogs, cats)
In 2021 Dr. Linek was then asked as Director Medical Development and Inovation to project and implement an educational program for a Berlin-placed Start-Up Tech-Company, offering home-visits for companion animals via Smartphone App.
For this company he produced 20 custom-made education webinars and established a Trainee Program and an e-Learning platform for new vets in 7 months only.
Dr. Linek is now indipendant consultant.
His bigges client is VetGruppen, a corporate of about 150 danish, norwegian, swedisch, finnish, german, austrian and swiss vet clinics.
He stands for the M&A and medical evaluation of units as well as the VLEARN education program for Germany.

Dr. Linek started at the age of 27 in taking over a vet-practise with his wife in the center of Hamburg/Germany.
They then expanded to a clinic and after 15 years of general practise and partly specialization in ophthalmology and dermatology Drs. Linek decided to open up a new concept of Vet-Practise in 2001 named
Veterinary Specialists Hamburg
This was the first european clinic offering 100% specialized services in
Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Cardiology, Internal Medicine, Surgery.
Despite many critics from accountans and leading people in the european vet business the Veterinary Specialists Hamburg-„Start-Up“ rocketed upwards.
After constructing a 1000sqm purpose-made clinic building in 2001 and further expansion they sold the business to the Swedish vet-corporate AniCura in 2014 which at that time started to come to the continental market.
So Veterinary Specialists Hamburg were pioneering this new market in DACH.
In search of new challenges Dr. Jens Linek then offered analysis (staff, concept, workflow, operations) of vet clinics in Sweden and consulted and coached practises and clinics in Germany and Switzerland.
